Here is The Easiest Way to Collect Addresses for Your Wedding Invites, from Woman Getting Married,
Admittedly, one of the things that drove me more than a little crazy when getting our Save the Dates ready to send was collecting addresses for our guest list.
That and licking the envelopes, am I right?! Thankfully, there are now MUCH easier ways to get in touch with every person on your wedding guest list to confirm their address. Now Zola, one of our fave resources for all things wedding, has made this process a LOT easier…
Zola has created a super awesome Guest List tool that’s just as easy for guests to use as it is for you. There are so many times where I got a text message saying “I didn’t receive the invitation.” Or better yet, a Thank You card I sent for a wedding gift got returned to me a full year and a half after our wedding date because I had the wrong address. Isn’t that crazy? You know what would have helped me avoid that? Zola’s Guest List tool! Where were you when I needed you!
Here are just a few of the reasons why we love using Zola’s Guest List tool. And the best part? It’s completely free!
- Create your full guest list (including an A and B version!) using Zola’s easy template, or upload one you’re already working on
- Collect guest addresses painlessly via a unique url
- Manage RSVPs in real time
- Gather guest meal choices with just a few clicks
- Print guest addresses on your Zola envelopes – for free
- Track gifts purchased from your Zola wedding registry
- See who you’ve sent Thank You notes to, and how many you still need to send
Psst! Did you know Zola has an awesome selection of paper invites? Yep, that’s in addition to their free wedding websites and what we think is the BEST wedding registry out there. Choose from hundreds of designs here!
So, how exactly does the Zola Guest List tool work?
To start collecting your guest addresses, you can build or import your guest list into Zola’s Guest List tool (which you can access on your desktop or mobile). The easiest way to do this is to download Zola’s template and add your guests’ names right into the doc (you can also upload any spreadsheets you might have already created).
After building your guest list in Zola, you can then collect your guest’s addresses by sending a custom URL or individual email to each guest, or by emailing guests in bulk to make the process that much easier. Say goodbye to having to call your cousin Jerry to see if he’s moved YET AGAIN.
If you’re anything like me and hate using Excel, then you’ll jump for joy knowing Zola has made the once painful process of creating your wedding guest list that much easier. No more accidentally deleting names or manually typing in every address. It’s a LOT more fun to log into your Zola account to do all of this than to open an old- school Excel grid IMHO.
