How To: Embellish Your Wedding Chairs

Reblogged from Embellished Events

One of my favorite things to do with brides is hone in on the often overlooked details, such as napkin garnishes, what the food will be served on, signage for everything and even bathroom decor (yes, it’s important!).

One big trend I’m noticing for 2014 is the addition of chair embellishments! Gone are the days of covering chairs with slipcovers and tying them with a bow. You can spend the same amount of $$ to rent beautiful chiavari chairs and then adorn the back with anything your heart desires!

Here are some ideas to spark your creativity:

  • Floral Garland
  • Use Rope, Ribbon or Cut Fabric
  • Rent Chair Caps
  • Rent Chair Jackets
  • Purchase Chair Jackets & Monogram
  • Find or Create a Unique Tie Style
  • Rent Cushion Covers
  • Rent or Purchase Throw Pillows (monogrammed!)
  • Use Pashminas

Guests will notice and appreciate the thought that you’ve put into all of the darling details, especially the chairs they’ll be sitting on for a great length of time during dinner.

Have fun with your chairs and let them add a fresh and unique touch to the overall look of your ceremony and/or reception.
