GALLERY: SIGN IDEAS FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY – PART I

It’s logistical but if you want you wedding day to run smoothly, it’s detail like signs that make all the difference. Even if it’s just pointing your guests at the toilets! However, the signs don’t have to be communicating things that are quite so mundane. We’ve seen couples put their own hashtag for the day on a sign, so that they can browse their Instagram pictures just by searching one tag, others write love-inspired quotes or poems. When you have your drinks or favors laid out, it’s nice to explain a bit about them and to encourage guests that they’re allowed to drink or take one (sometimes it’s hard to know what you are and aren’t meant to do…).

BLACKBOARD PAINT SIGNS

I saw this chair outside a local bar – they’ve just painted it with backboard paint and used a chalk pen to write on. It’s so easily done and you can use anything – an old lamp, a chair, a silver platter, vases, bottle…

CHEAP AND EASY FRAMED SIGNS

Another very easy and cheap way to communicate all your lovely messages is by buying new, or old pictures frames and just printing on paper to put in them. It’s what we did for our Summer Solstice Party earlier this year:

SIGNS ATTACHED TO PROPS

You could attach them to props, like this couple did with a bicycle…

So there’s lots to play with and you needn’t have guests wondering about anything. Mark your dessert table with what things are, mark your favors with ‘Take Me’, mark your drinks table with ‘Drink Me’ and everybody will be all the happier for it. And you’ll have pretty and useful decorations everywhere!
