Get Some Decor Ideas For Your Christmas Wedding!

If you are already planning a terrific Christmas wedding this December, you should know that it gives an extra amount of love, joy unity, and sharing, yes, just because it is Christmas season, and everyone loves holidays.

Like any bride, it’s not just the right ring or dress, but the actual “getting married” itself surrounded with your beloved ones what makes this special, and if you want it to be this much special, you must take it to the next level with the decoration. Christmas theme makes it easier and more fun to you because there’s a lot of colors, characters, and textures you can focus on to also personalize your touch.

Dare to give Christmas brushstrokes to that special day where they will link their lives with the person of their dreams.

Set the Mood

If possible, try to find a venue that serves as the perfect setting to host a Christmas wedding. A medieval castle, an all mansion, or a monastery. If you rather something simpler, you can search for a mountain village or a rural farmhouse. Surely they all house at least one living room with a large fireplace that presides over the room and allows to give that cozy touch so characteristic of the Christmas season, placing on it an Advent wreath, candles, red socks or some classic light garlands.

Christmas Decor Items

Christmas season is full of color choices red, green and white are the most traditional ones, but you can also use gold or silver, or some neutral tones such as gray, raw and beige or more vivid colors (blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow), depending on the style you want to print to your celebration.

On the tables, you can place tartan tablecloths, combinations of candles and holly branches, and for each guest’s napkin, put a personalized Christmas ornament or natural elements such as cinnamon sticks, red fruits, and fir leaves.

Christmas traditional stuff such as Santa, reindeer, stars or natural branches, can be used to decorate, without reloading, different corners of the ceremony and banquet, such as the ceremony book, the entrance to the hall, the food stalls or corners of sweets or candy bar. Do not forget to frame the space with garlands of lights to give a magical touch, the Christmas wreaths to put on some wall, windows or the table of the bride and groom, hanging fir branches on the tables or railings of the stairs, and of course, a large Christmas tree that welcomes or decorates the cocktail area.

Do not forget about the stationery and other details of the celebration, choose Christmas patterns to decorate the invitations, waiters, marcasites, signature book, posters, seating plan … Firs, snow, holly branches, or red ribbons. Invitations with handmade calligraphy and illustrations made with watercolor are very fashionable, ideal to start spreading the Christmas spirit that will be breathed in your wedding among your family and friends.

A great idea is to take advantage of the festive nature of these dates, so we suggest you include special details with which your guests can dress up and take pictures during the party. For example, hand out Santa hats, reindeer ears/noses or cotillion kits, you will have a great time!

Oh! Do not miss a Christmas touch in the gifts to the guests, betting on small favors wrapped in paper with Christmas motifs or details with red ribbons and personalized labels, and of course, in the music of your wedding. If the traditional Christmas carols do not convince you and you want to create an elegant atmosphere, we leave you the playlist below with a mix of Christmas classics in swing, jazz and rock, and pop artists. Your Christmas wedding will be a success!
