Check out these wedding dresses ideas for Princess Eugenie’s; from Brides
The date is set; The padparadscha sapphire engagement ring is on her finger; And all the details are seemingly falling into place for the royal wedding between Princess Eugenie of York and her fiancé, commoner Jack Brooksbank. On October 12, 2018, Eugenie, Prince Harry’s cousin and ninth in line to the throne, will walk down the same aisle that Harry and Meghan Markle descended down earlier this year at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor. But this royal wedding will have some distinct differences from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s nuptials.
For starters, Princess Eugenie has already stated that her wedding day will be completely plastic-free. The environmentally conscious royal told British Vogue, “My whole house is anti-plastic now—and Jack and I want our wedding to be like that as well.” And unlike Meghan Markle, who followed British royal wedding traditionby only including small children in her bridal party, it is rumored that Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, will stand beside the bride as maid of honor. Way to pull a Pippa Middleton, Bea!
Similarly, we expect that Princess Eugenie’s wedding dress will be wholly different than that of Meghan Markle’s Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy gown. They are two individual brides, after all, with dramatically different styles to boot. But in that case, what exactly will Eugenie’s wedding dress end up looking like? Well, we have some ideas…
We’ve recruited your favorite wedding dress designers and asked them to choose one gorgeous gown from their collections that they think is perfect for Princess Eugenie. Here’s what Hayley Paige, Amsale, Rita Vinieris, Lela Rose, and more think she should walk down the aisle in on the big day. According to Lela Rose, this royal bride should opt for an opulent A-line shilouette and off-the-shoulder cut. Meanwhile, Rosa Clará envisions conservative long sleeves for Eugenie. And Hayley Paige sees her in a style featuring stunning floral embroidery.
Do you think the royal bride-to-be will end up wearing something similar to these wedding dresses come October 12? We can’t wait to see!
